A Woman’s Foundry
Frostad Atelier Foundry opened for business in 1998 by Ronnie Frostad, and
it is unique in that it is owned and operated by a woman. After five years
in business, Ronnie moved the foundry to a much larger facility, the present
facility, at McClellan Business Park in Sacramento, California. The foundry
is full-service and is committed to high quality castings, expert finish
work and patination, and completing all work on schedule. The foundry is
also unique in being clean and well-organized. Ronnie is an artist herself
and works individually with each client to listen to their needs and
desires, to offer advice when requested, and to transform their work into
the bronze sculpture that they envisioned. This individual attention is
unique in the foundry business.
The foundry employs an exceptional team of experienced artisans who take
great pride in their work. Ronnie is often complimented for her pleasant and
efficient team. Each team member strives to create the “wow” response from
the clients. With this experienced team, Ronnie is able to offer all phases
of bronze casting from mold making to beautiful patina finish including
mountings and installation. Clients may choose to utilize the full foundry
process or only specific aspects of the process.
